Starting this blog....

It all began at the Cognitive Neuroscience Society meeting in Montreal (April 2010)... I met a number of researchers working on bilingualism and found that we all found it difficult to keep up with information because bilingualism is such an interdisciplinary field. At a lunch with just 9 people, we have already got a diverse background from 4 departments (Psychology, Linguistics, Cognitive neuroscience and Communication Science). Therefore, I set up this blog as an information centre, hoping to facilitate information transfer and potential collaboration.

Information proposed to be on the posted (labels in parentheses):
1. Conferences that you plan to go (conference)
2. Recently accepted papers in the field of bilingualism (in-press)
3. Job postings (jobs)
4. Questions concerning general research methodology (questions)
5. Review of paper(s) that you've read recently and want to share with others (review). Please provide your name and email for #5.

Viewers can comment on individual post either with their sign-in name with google or anonymously. If you have posting for this blog, please email it to bilingualism.research@gmail.com

I will update the blog on a weekly basis. Labels will also be included with each post to facilitate searching. Typical post concerning the maintenance of this blog will be tagged as "Admin".
